The 11th “21st Century Urban Development” International Conference

（Conference Notice No. 1）

隨著我國城鎮(zhèn)化發(fā)展進(jìn)入中后期，存量更新代替增量發(fā)展成為中國城市空間發(fā)展的主要形式，城市普遍進(jìn)入物質(zhì)空間、社會(huì)空間、經(jīng)濟(jì)空間、文化空間、生態(tài)空間等多維空間同頻共振高質(zhì)量更新的階段。人民對于高品質(zhì)城市空間的需求，城市規(guī)劃設(shè)計(jì)應(yīng)該有所響應(yīng)，無論是基礎(chǔ)理論、規(guī)劃設(shè)計(jì)方法、工作方式、乃至相關(guān)的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和法規(guī)都要有所創(chuàng)新。城市更新地區(qū)的規(guī)劃設(shè)計(jì)作為城市更新建設(shè)活動(dòng)的指導(dǎo)和依據(jù)，其作用和重要性不言而喻。城市詳細(xì)規(guī)劃經(jīng)過三十多年發(fā)展所形成的相對成熟編制技術(shù)和實(shí)操經(jīng)驗(yàn)，如何在城市更新語境下進(jìn)行理論方法、關(guān)鍵技術(shù)與實(shí)踐應(yīng)用的創(chuàng)新，是值得探索的重大議題。

With China's urbanization entering its mid-to-late stage, stock renewal has replaced incremental development as the primary mode of urban spatial expansion. Cities have generally entered a stage of high-quality renewal in multiple dimensions such as material space, social space, economic space, cultural space, and ecological space. Urban planning and design must respond to the public demand for high-quality urban spaces, with urgent needs of innovations in fundamental theories, planning methodologies, operational approaches, and relevant standards and regulations. As the guiding framework and technical basis for urban renewal development and construction activities, the planning and design of urban renewal areas carries self-evident significance. A critical topic imperative worthy for exploration in the context of urban renewal is how to innovate the theoretical frameworks, core technologies, and practical applications of urban detailed planning, which has refined over three decades of mature compilation techniques and implementation experience.

為此，第十一屆“21世紀(jì)城市發(fā)展”國際會(huì)議將邀請國內(nèi)外城市更新與詳細(xì)規(guī)劃等多領(lǐng)域知名專家與學(xué)者發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)演講，遴選優(yōu)秀論文作者宣讀學(xué)術(shù)論文。我們期待各位參會(huì)者各抒己見、暢所欲言，共同推進(jìn)城市更新時(shí)期詳細(xì)規(guī)劃理論與實(shí)踐發(fā)展！現(xiàn)發(fā)布本次國際會(huì)議的一號(hào)通知，主要事宜如下：

Accordingly, the 11th '21st Century Urban Development' International Conference will invite renowned scholars and experts across multiple disciplines on urban Renewal and detailed planning to deliver academic presentations. The conference will select outstanding papers and invite their authors to present their works in-person. We look forward to the presentation from all participants, and, together, we look forward to promoting the development of the theory and practice of detailed planning in the era of urban renewal. Hereby we issue the first notification of this international conference. The details are as follows:

歡迎有關(guān)各方專家、學(xué)者、政府管理人員，圍繞會(huì)議議題撰寫論文；同時(shí)歡迎在校學(xué)生積極參與。會(huì)議將對提交的論文進(jìn)行評選，入選會(huì)議論文集（電子版）的論文將頒發(fā)入選證書，遴選優(yōu)秀論文在分會(huì)場進(jìn)行交流并頒發(fā)優(yōu)秀論文證書。

論文需要使用在Windows系統(tǒng)下的Word撰寫，論文的排版格式請嚴(yán)格按照附件的示例word格式進(jìn)行安排，會(huì)議論文接受中英文語言投稿。在論文中，作者需要提供論文題目、作者姓名和工作/學(xué)習(xí)單位、通訊地址、聯(lián)系電話、email等）等信息。

Scholars, practitioners, and government officials are invited to submit papers addressing the conference themes, with student participation particularly encouraged. All submissions will undergo peer review. Papers accepted for the Conference Proceedings (Digital Edition) will receive Certificates of Inclusion, while selected outstanding papers will be presented in parallel sessions and awarded Certificates of Excellence.
Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) under Windows OS, strictly adhering to the formatting template provided. Both Chinese and English is available. Each submission must include the paper title, author names, affiliations, postal address, contact telephone, and email.

本屆國際會(huì)議對所有參會(huì)人員開放，免收注冊費(fèi)，交通及住宿費(fèi)用自理。

The conference is open to all participants without registration fees. Attendees shall cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
